Pastor Jeremy Mercer

Jeremy is originally from Texas, where he grew up, came to faith, and met his wife. Jeremy and Lacy were married in October of 2010 and have three children, Jensen (’16), Ellysen (’18), and Lawsen (’20).

Jeremy received his undergraduate degree at Liberty University (’18), completed his MA in Theology at Liberty (’19), and is pursuing his M.Div. at The Master’s Seminary.

Jeremy spent 11 years in the Air Force as a crew chief, maintenance quality assurance inspector, and maintenance instructor supervisor, before answering the call into full-time ministry. Jeremy served at Grace Church as the Small Group Director from 2015 to 2019. At Grace Church, Jeremy served in multiple different roles, and while there, he surrendered to the ministry, abandoning the security of a military career that he loved. He started serving as Lead Pastor in May (’19).

Jeremy is an avid reader who especially loves to study the topics of church history and ecclesiology. Pastor Jeremy loves spending time with his kids and going to the gym. He loves cooking and eating good cooking.
